I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I last posted…such a slacker. The beginning of the summer/end of the school year has been pretty crazy and when you add in the husband’s ever changing work schedule you get crazy Stacey. Sorry…more phone pictures. The camera hasn’t miraculously healed itself yet. A quick cross quilt [...]

Some watercolors on coffee filters… Homemade Maple Scones. The recipe is from the most recent Edible Green Mountains magazine. I’d never made scones before but had recently had one that I loved so I thought I’d give them a try. They’re delicious! They’re not at all healthy but they are super yummy! These two guys got their [...]

I saved these two dresses for quite a while. They’ve been too short for Estella for over a year but I couldn’t bring myself to give them away just yet… I decided to make them into skirts to get a little more life out of them. I added a simple fold over yoga waist to [...]

I’m keeping to my plan and finishing up some incomplete projects. I think I finished the top of this quilt last summer…I remember photographing it on the grass…I guess finishing it has been a year long project. I don’t have a use for it yet but it’ll be done! I’ve finished the quilting and I’m [...]
When I got home from work today there was some heavy duty artwork going on. Estella was making flip-flops out of paper. Not sure where the flip-flop thing is coming from…maybe she’s getting antsy for some more warm weather… And Kyler was doing a little coloring of his own… I finally finished the group of bats [...]

**My camera was dropped on it’s lens a while back and some of these photos show the damage it sustained. The colors are off and it’s impossible to focus it…a new one is on my wish list…but since I took them, I’ll share them…** Estella and her St Patty’s day craft…started at the Celtic Festival and [...]

I’ve finished the four giant blocks of the Single Girl baby quilt. Some of the fabrics definitely stand out more than others but in the end I’m happy with my choices…and I hope that mom and baby will be as well. A little water coloring tonight before bed time…a rainbow jello and butterfly from Estella [...]
Once again I uploaded pictures and it’s taken me about a week to actually get them up but once again I’m going to go with the whole “better late than never” thing. We did a little milk coloring. It really is very cool and I highly recommend trying it. Look at her face…see? It really [...]

The cross quilt is done. I decided to round the corners for something different and I quilted it on the outside edge of the stitching in a cross pattern. It turned out to be a fun quilt. Kyler almost immediately claimed it. He dragged it away from the table so I threw it on the couch [...]
