The light here is terrible…it still looks like 6 o’clock in the morning but I wanted to post since it’s been a few days. I’m assuming that snow is in the forecast since the plows have been out like crazy this morning and it’s not even snowing in the slightest. I guess I should check the forecast, maybe they’re just cleaning up.
I’ve been making pompoms. I used to love making pompoms as a kid but they take forever to wrap all of that yarn. Now, I’ve been making them the grown-up, easier, cheating waybut there’s so much waste! I got a pom pom maker the other day so I think I’ll try that soon…there’s supposed to be much less trimming involved…then maybe I’ll manage to actually get some garland made before Christmas. Or maybe at least before winter’s over…
I’m slowly working on these three when I’m taking a break from Christmas presents.
I’m painfully behind on gifts this year so it looks like it’ll be a mostly store bought kind of year. My mind has been elsewhere and making a ton of gifts just seems to be more than I can handle. At this point I’ll be thankful if I get gifts packed up and in the mail on time. I guess some years are like that.
Not much planned for this weekend. I have a migraine this morning so I’m laying low, trying to keep the volume of the kids turned down. Maybe even a kid-free bath in a little while to relax…
